COMPREHENSIVE HOLISTIC DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT IS THE KEY
I suffered over 9 months with an unusual condition involving intense torso pain, inability to walk correctly, not being able to ride in a car more than 10 minutes without exacerbating the symptoms, among other issues. I tried steroid spinal shots, numerous prescribed nerve drugs, and pain medications. 7 doctors were puzzled as to my aliments. Physical Therapy helped some, perhaps 30%. Finally one of the neurosurgeons suggested I give acupuncture a try. Thanks to David LoPriore, I received some pain relief from my very first treatment, (& some great herbal spray) . After 3 months I am now pain-free, and am learning, holistically, how to live healthier, and take responsibility in my own healing process. I appreciate David’s knowledge of several traditions of the healing arts, and his ability to truly listen to my words, pulses, and body language each visit and treats accordingly.

I recently started acupuncture with Dave and quickly noticed improvements not just in my symptoms (tennis elbow), but also in the deeper rooted issues that he believes are causing them. He is immensely thoughtful about his approach. The first session includes a very thorough consultation where he gets to know you well beyond the symptoms that brought you to him. He uses that info to create a holistic plan, including chinese herbs, mediation, etc. His background is impressive and he is a really nice person to boot. The ASOMNE office managers are incredible as well, and you might be convinced that their sole mission in life is to make everyone else’s life easier. I’m so grateful to have found this practice.

I first went to ASOMNE a few years ago to get some help with chronic, stress-related gastrointestinal disorders — I had tried many treatments, including surgery, and was ready to get to the root of the problem: stress. Sensei LoPriore’s work is indeed holistic and has has been teaching me how to better control the mind/body connection and lower my stress symptoms. The acupuncture provides immediate relief for a number of symptoms for me, including IBS, headache, anxiety, stress, and chest pain. Additionally, he encouraged me to begin a meditation practice which has improved my life in so many ways. Sensei LoPriore is a deeply experienced and gifted acupuncturist, but also a wise counselor and life mentor. He also has a great sense of humor and an infectiously positive outlook on life. Give acupuncture a try if you are stressed out, have trouble sleeping, can’t shut off your overactive mind, etc. — all those symptoms that you think are just part of life, but are actually something you can control! Sensei LoPriore has improved my quality of life many times over. As a military veteran receiving free treatments from Warriors for Warriors. I have been treated for PTSD, Smoking and Alcohol Addictions, Back Pain, Neuropathy and overall wellness. The tiny needles don’t hurt, instead they open up the blockages in the body that have stopped the flow of healthy energy to the areas that need help.
Over 20 years ago, while being treated for low back pain, I asked for help with my smoking addiction ( 2 packs a day, more on the weekends). It was July 13, 2000. I would recommend David LoPriore to anyone who has physical or emotional pain that have been treated with drugs and not able to find relief from the pain. David’s practice is multifaceted. If you go to his web site it will give you a good idea of what his practice offers. If you are not sure what your insurance covers, the office managers are more than willing to call your insurance company to clarify your coverage. My main reason for going to David was severe bursitis pain which was so bad I couldn’t raise my arm or sleep at night. Before going to David I was only interested in getting rid of my pain but I got much more than I ever expected. There is physical pain which we all recognize, but there is also emotional pain which can be as debilitating as physical pain to our health that is what David pointed out to me. He helped me to recognize my emotional pain and instructed me on how to let go of it. I was amazed to learn that my shoulder pain was coming from my grief. My doctors never could have figured that out! When David puts the needles in I visualize the healing actually taking place which I believe speeds the healing. David will give 100% of his abilities to your healing he only asks that you do the same.
