Laura Nichols, LMT
Laura Nichols joined the ASOMNE team in 2019, offering therapeutic massage and shiatsu treatments. Laura has been a massage therapist since 2007, and has been apprenticing in Kosho Shorei Shiatsu (Japanese bodywork therapy and mindfulness) under LoPriore Sensei since 2014. In her massage treatments, she integrates her years of experience in massage therapy with Asian shiatsu techniques. For patients also receiving acupuncture from LoPriore Sensei, Laura includes shiatsu treatment related to LoPriore Sensei’s diagnosis and treatment.
Laura Nichols, LMT
Laura holds a BA from Western Connecticut State University and graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, obtaining CT state licensure through the National Certification Board in January of 2007. She has been practicing massage therapy in the greater New London area ever since.
Laura is certified in a number of massage modalities, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger- point release, pre- and post-natal massage, and infant massage, and is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
Laura is passionate about holistic medicine and self-care, and helping others achieve their wellness goals. As LoPriore Sensei’s apprentice, she looks forward to collaborating with him to provide ASOMNE patients the best of what massage and Asian Medicine together have to offer.
Laura is the proud mother of three young children, and loving wife of Brian Nichols. They live in Waterford, CT.
